On July 13, 2024, an attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump occurred at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania. The shooter, identified as Thomas Matthew Crooks, was a 20-year-old from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania. Crooks was killed by Secret Service agents moments after opening fire from a rooftop near the rally.

Before we both made the dicision to move from Lake Pontchartrain to Lake Conroe. We tried to do as much research about Lake Conroe as we could. Most of the initial information we got was from realtors – mostly Pros & Cons about selling homes. But it’s not all what we wanted to know.

After our move to Lake Conroe (Texas), we started to explore and check out some of the nearby Farmers Markets, something that we can do during the weekend here. There are 3 of them within a short distance, Conroe Downtown, Montgomery and The Woodlands.

3 Nights for our first Destin trip, we stayed on Okaloosa Island right next to Fort Walton, 10 mins drive to the Destin Harbor Boardwalk. Nice White Sand Beach in Winter time!
We are back to Pike’s market (Public Market) again, September 2021 during the third wave of Covid-19, our second since our first in 2017. Everything looks normal (except for the masks!).
We are all fully vaccinated and we started to travel to visit our family again with our first stop in in Gig Harbor. This was our 3rd trip to Seattle (2017-2021). Washington still has a MASK MANDATE regardless of vaccination status.
