The Eiffel Tower, Paris

Our first time to the World’s iconic Eiffel tower

One of our top things to do in Paris, no doubt! THE EIFFEL TOWER!!!

Just too bad, the dates that we were visiting, the tower was under construction and we couldn’t get the ticket to go up…(sad)

So our first time visiting the Eiffel was around the tower. And in some of our pictures, the tower was full of scaffoldings!

Our hotel is 1 Metro station away from the Eiffel. In fact, it’s walking distance from our hotel.
Eiffel Tower is on the Green Line No.6 at Bir-Hakeim Station. There are many signs to tell you where to exit and go to Eiffel from the station. You won’t get lost, it’s about a 5 mins walk from the Metro Station to the Eiffel.

Many tourists tried to get the picture with the Eiffel in as many ways as they could and lots of people were dressing very formal for their pictures!

During the Pandemic (Covid-19) at the time of our visit they are not required to wear the mask outside. So we don’t really have to wear the mask to walk around the tower.

There is a big park in front of the Eiffel where many tourists would come to sit or picnic. There are many vendors selling some drinks too (Like Beer, Wine, Soda…) and a few street musicians playing to small groups.

REMEMBER THEY ARE TRYING TO WARN THE TOURIST ABOUT PICKPOCKET, SO LOOK SO CLOSE WITH YOUR BELONGING!

You can also find crepes to try around this area.

The street vendors are around the tower. It was silly to see them pack and run when the police (on bikes) would come around.

We also walked back to the Eiffel at night. It’s so beautiful.

You can see the tower over the River Seine.

We didn’t try the cruise in Seine River this time – so much to do in Paris .

And we feel we will come back to Paris again to climb (or maybe ride the elevator) up the Eiffel tower.

I think we took more than 100 pictures with the Eiffel!

By the way, the funny thing about this trip. I picked the hotel that they said we will get the view of Eiffel. I thought that would be cool!

But our Eiffel view from our hotel window is a little funny. Just the top of the tower from another building we can see, I guess all the hotels within 10 miles (or more) can say that they have a view of the tower. But it’s cute when they turn the light on at night….
