It’s awesome time!!! Check out the recently trip pictures from “Kanchanaburi” – the scene of the World War II -The Tiger Temple” !!! This is a little far away from Bangkok (2.5 Hours) but it’s worth it!!! Just try to get up early and leave Bangkok around 7.30 in the morning.
Then go see the Death Railway, the world-famous Bridge over the river Kwai, from here you can walk to visit World War II Mesuem or take a ride through history on the Death Railway Train(1hr)or take a ride on a long tail boat for sighseeing along river Kwai (2hrs), stops to walk down the cave.
Then ride for another 45 mins to The Tiger Temple (Remember: you should get there before 2pm), there are much more fun with Tigers, you can pat and feed the tigers like they are just a cat! By the way, if you leave the tiger temple about 4pm, you can try to take a shower with elephant at Elephant Camp!
Nice pictures from Brittany & Elliot…THANKS!!!
END of story, the tiger temple in Thailand is closed!!!
I’m feeling so sad, we went there not just to play with the tigers but were amazed by the wildlife and the Thai monks that took care of all the animals. I never expected them to be involved in any type illegal wildlife trade…
My review was from passed years when we had such good memories about the tigers and the temple.
FYI: the 147 tigers will be relocated to national parks in other parts of Thailand, 6/1/2016.
